Wall Lanterns

Onion Light in antique brass, 1 light, optic glass. Size shown: 10-1/2"wide x 19"high, extends 12-1/2". Available in other finishes, sizes and glass. These Onion Lanterns originated in the New England Cape Cod area. The soldered wire guard protected the hand-blown glass from the frequent "NorEaster's" that batter the New England coasts. The lanterns are a popular choice for interior and exterior applications. All of our handcrafted lanterns are made of a heavy gauge copper or brass with cast brass structural supports (no punch riveting, all hand-soldered, no steel parts).

Available in other finished, sizes and glass. The Federal Period of lighting (circa 1700 to 1810) was during the Founding Father's Architectural era. These handcrafted lanterns are in keeping with the Federal style and add an exquisite cast-brass scrolled wall bracket that creates a grander warmth and appeal.
