Made in America, our wall lantern lighting is available in many styles and colors to accent any architectural style. Each series has multiple sizes and mounting options. The custom scroll bracket adds extra interest and design. All of our handcrafted lanterns are made of a heavy gauge copper or brass with cast brass structural supports (no punch riveting, all hand-soldered, no steel parts).

These Onion Lanterns originated in the New England Cape Cod area. The soldered wire guard protected the hand-blown glass from the frequent "NorEaster's" that batter the New England coasts. The lanterns are a popular choice for interior and exterior applications. This lantern was made and used all over the Boston area during the period termed "the oil period" in the years 1820 thru 1865. The original style lanterns were made by The J.Binney & Co. in Boston.
