This Garden Down Light adds a whimsical creativity to any design requiring dramatic down lighting. Perfect for house or garden, this wall washer can be used for both interior and exterior applications. All of our handcrafted lanterns are made of a heavy gauge copper or brass with cast brass structural supports (no punch riveting, all hand-soldered, no steel parts). Custom sizing and custom trim are available. We can change any lantern to gas.

An outstanding example of an 18th century lantern from the Federal Period, 1780 to 1830, this lantern could be found from Salem, Massachusetts to the quiet splendor of the old south. The origins of this lantern can be traced back to Louis Prince, a quality lamp maker in Boston.
